Our Annual Meeting will be held at the Amvets club on December 18. The business meeting will include nominations for the Election of Vice President and Treasurer.
Dennis Miller of Mandan, co-founder of the Missouri Valley Shooting Sports Association, passed away on September 26 at 9 p.m. We wish to express our sincere condolences to the family.
My apologies for the delay in posting the scores for August and September.
The September match was the last match of the season and it ended with a bang! We had some of the highest scores since the beginning of the series.
Mike Ramella beat his last month’s score by 10 points, moving him up to a 770 and the top scorer of all the matches. Seems he’s pushing some of the others to work a little harder! We had some great scores. Seems Tim Liebel is getting his Zen on with a fine score of 585 in Factory class. Nice shooting, Tim. Our regular shooters, Don Granlie and Doug Kitzan, are putting in some really fine scores of 650 and 500, respectively. Dave Fettig and Adam Weber turned in some fine scores as well: 595 and 440, respectively.
The last two matches really had some excellent weather and participation. I want to thank all the guys that came out to participate and am looking forward to see you all back again next year. I’ll try to be more prompt with posting the scores.
I, also want to thank Doug Kitzan for runing the August match for me. Nice job, Doug! An added thanks to Lonnie Hanson for scoring.
Mike Ramella’s 770 target.
