150th Annnual Canadian Fullbore Championships at the Connaught ranges in Ottawa, Canada
This is the Canadian National Championship event for target rifles. Competitors have to fire the .308 Winchester or the .223 Remington cartridges only. There are also limits in bullet weight. The Canadian matches are a combinations of events at 300 meters, 500 and 600 yards, and 800 and 900 meters. All events are slow fire prone with aperture or “iron sights” – no scopes. This was my first time at the Canadian nationals and I had a great time shooting and meeting a lot of new friends in Canada.
