The game is typically shot indoors with a bolt action .22 rifle. - [.22 LR 50 Yard Benchrest Pistol and Rifle](https://www.bmrpa.org/22-lr-50-yard-benchrest): Matches will be 40 shots for record. Competitors can shoot one or both events (scope and iron).
