About BMRPA

Mission of the BMRPA

The mission of the Bismarck-Mandan Rifle and Pistol Association is the promotion and protection of the Second Amendment, shooting sports, and hunting. This Association promotes the safe and responsible use of firearms.

Through dedicated volunteers, the Association strives to provide a communications network, education and training, and active competitive shooting programs.

This Association serves all persons without regard to age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin or physical impairment.

The BMRPA hosts a number of competitive shooting events throughout the year. These events include Highpower Rifle, Cowboy Action, Bullseye Pistol, Rifle and Pistol Silhouette, Smallbore Rifle, Black Powder Cartridge Rifle, to name a few. There is also a Junior Marksmanship Program.

We can also help with firearms safety and marksmanship programs, such as Firearms Home Safety and Boy Scouts Shooting Merit Badges.

We have nearly completed building a shooting complex southeast of Bismarck/Mandan, near Moffit, ND. This complex supports rifle shooting to 1,000 yards in range, rifle and handgun silhouette, benchrest shooting, bullseye pistol competition, and cowboy action shooting.

Our organization has a meeting on the third Monday of each month. Check out our calendar to see where the meetings are held. Please join us if you are interested in learning more about our organization.
