Indoor Varmint Rifle

Discipline Description

Indoor Varmint Matches are consistent with Outdoor Benchrest Varmint with some exceptions.

.22 rifles shot offhand and off benches
There are 3 separate matches
1st with scoped rifles @ 50′ offhand
2nd with iron sights rifles @ 50′ offhand
3rd with scoped rifles @ 50 meters from the bench

20 shots for score for each match. Any .22 rifle that is legal for light rifle may be used.

– For the offhand matches – Rifle and scope not to exceed 8.5 pounds, minimum trigger pull of 2 pounds.

– For the Bench Rest Match: The rifle may not exceed 14 pounds, the rifle must retain the original trigger, stock, action and barrel. The rifle must have a working safety. Triggers may be tuned; stocks may be bedded and the barrel muzzle may be threaded.

– Any rifle not meeting these requirements can be fired in a non-compliant category.
